Dear Homeowners:


We want to wish everyone a safe and happy 2023. We also would like to congratulate all of the 2022 graduates. That is a huge achievement and we send our best wishes for your future path.


We also take this opportunity to thank three Board members who chose not to run for re-election in 2022: Charissa Zambo, Karen Bellak, and Jeff Ray. Thank you for volunteering your time and expertise. We will send information soon about the next election.


It's a pleasure to announce that Lindenhurst Mayor Dominic Marturano presented a plaque of appreciation at the Village Board meeting to Harvest Hill resident, Joy Gajda. Joy served 17 years as Plan Commissioner and also volunteered 16 years on the Veteran’s Memorial Commission. Thank you, Joy, for your time and dedication to our community!

By now you have received the letter from the Board advising that we decided to self-manage the Harvest Hill property. Our contract with PSI terminated on December 31, 2022. If you haven't already done so, please make your annual association fee payment no later than January 31, 2023. Payment can be made by mailing a check to our P.O. Box 6143, Lindenhurst, IL 60046 or by going through the portal, www.Harvest-Hill-Homeowners.com

If you had already made the payment through PSI, there is no need for concern. PSI will transfer those payments to our new account. The Board is optimistic that we will be able to utilize the savings to improve the health and appearance of our pond.


The ARCs will now go directly to the Board of Directors so we anticipate quicker turn around times. Please complete the ARC form, include necessary attachments, and upload to our portal.


We have engaged the firm of Tressler LLC to review the HOA CCRs and By-laws to bring them up to current state requirements. They've completed that step and are drafting long overdue changes, for example, regarding fence types. We will send a draft to all homeowners soon for your review and comments. If we receive a lot of comments or questions, we would be willing to hold another HOA meeting to discuss.

Please keep in mind that we will need at least 75% of homeowners to approve the documents in order for them to be adopted.

FYI: The cold weather has caused water pipes to burst in two homes in Harvest Hill. This may result in extensive damage and repair. If you are away from your home for an extended period of time, please be sure that your furnace is in good working condition. During your absence, leave sink cabinet doors and shower doors open where they are against an outside wall. It also would be prudent to inform at least one of your neighbors that you will be away so that they can keep an eye on your house and call you or the Village if necessary.
